There’s a particular kind of tired that comes from a good weekend away — the kind where the kids fall asleep in the car, the BBQ pit is still faintly smoking, and everyone’s already asking when you’re coming back. That’s the feeling we’ve built Tee Side Chalet around.

Tucked away from the everyday rush, Tee Side Chalet gives families and friend groups a space to actually slow down together — without needing to fly anywhere to do it.

Space That Actually Fits Everyone

A lot of getaways fall apart the moment you try to fit a big group somewhere small. Our spacious two-storey bungalows are built with exactly that problem in mind — enough room for extended family, multiple generations, or a big circle of friends to stay under one roof without stepping on each other.

Whether it’s a birthday weekend, a reunion, or just an excuse to get everyone together, our bungalows are made for groups who actually want to spend time in the same space, not scattered across separate hotel rooms.

The BBQ Pit Is Non-Negotiable

Ask anyone who’s stayed with us before, and the BBQ pit usually comes up first. There’s something about grilling together — someone’s manning the tongs, someone’s arguing about how long the chicken wings need, someone’s already gone back for seconds — that turns a simple meal into the whole evening’s entertainment.

Our BBQ facilities are set up for exactly that kind of easy, unhurried night.

Something for Everyone to Do

Beyond the bungalows and the BBQ, we’ve also added two pickleball courts on-site — a fast, easy-to-pick-up game that’s become a genuine hit with guests of all ages. It doesn’t take long to learn, which is exactly why it’s worked so well for groups: grandparents, teenagers, and everyone in between have all found their way onto the court over a weekend stay, usually followed by a good-natured argument over who actually won.

We’ve seen entire families rotate through a game between BBQ courses, and more than a few friendly rivalries start over a single weekend. It’s become enough of a fixture that some guests now build their whole visit around getting a few games in — but if you’ve never picked up a paddle before, that’s exactly the point. No experience needed, just show up and start playing.

We’ll be sharing more on the pickleball side of things in a separate post soon — for now, just know it’s there, it’s easy to jump into, and it might just become the thing your group argues about most.

Built for the Weekends That Matter

At the end of the day, Tee Side Chalet isn’t about luxury for its own sake — it’s about giving people a space where the actual point of the trip (each other) doesn’t get lost in logistics. Big enough to fit everyone, relaxed enough that nobody’s watching the clock, and just enough going on that no one gets bored by Sunday afternoon.

If it’s been a while since your family or friend group had a proper weekend together, we’d love to host the next one.
